Marion DuFresne isn’t the first televangelist to be investigated by the IRS.
He’s simply the first to have it filmed.

This astounding ‘documentary’ takes us behind the scenes as Right Wing, fire-and-brimstone, “Put your hands on your TV screen!” Evangelist Rev. Marion DuFresne from Tennessee visits the UK for a one off revival event and fundraiser for his new Intelligent Design UK College. Marion insists that it is the message from God, not the money from the faithful viewers, that makes this an exciting mission for him. The IRS thinks otherwise.

So does Detective Phil Tindle of Scotland Yard, an adolescent thirty-five-year-old who likes films with ninjas in them. Phil accompanies agent Robbie McCall - an objective, non-biased, born-again Christian of the IRS - during the UK investigation.

The pair are witnesses as Reverend Marion DuFresne – together with his crazier-than-thou wife Mary-Anne and voluptuous P.A. Lauren – blesses, heals, and rocks and rolls his way across the country. Archive clips of Marion’s attempts at fame and fortune paint a candid picture of him preaching and healing his way to both. Robbie McCall (worshipping Lord Jesus) and Eddie Gibbon (worshipping Lord Vader) follow The Reverend and his crew as the film reveals to us what the detectives themselves have been looking for.

The truth, the whole truth…and something like the truth.
